Mineral research · Minas Gerais and Mato Grosso · Brazil

Permitted ground in two of Brazil's geological provinces. The evidence starts here.

Projeto Monte Sinai is a pre target exploration portfolio in Brazil. Six mineral research authorizations granted by the National Mining Agency (ANM), across two distinct geological provinces, targeting rare earths, gold and diamonds. Surface and mineral rights sit with a single owner, the program is staged by gates, and the first campaign is being mobilized. We are selecting a small number of technical and strategic counterparties for the stage where the geological base is created.

00 · Position

A research portfolio, described exactly as it is.

Mineral exploration attracts language that runs ahead of the data. This project takes the opposite discipline. Every claim on this page maps to a granted title, a published administrative act or a public source. Nothing here anticipates a result that has not been measured.

What this is

  • Six research authorizations granted by the ANM, published in Brazil's Federal Official Gazette.
  • 8,813.29 hectares of surface and research rights held under a single ownership structure.
  • A funded exploration program covering mapping, geochemical sampling, laboratory work and target prioritization.
  • An invitation to technical and strategic partners to enter at the stage where knowledge is created.

What this is not

  • Not a declared deposit, resource or reserve. No mineral resource has been estimated or reported.
  • Not a mining authorization. A research permit does not authorize extraction.
  • Not a statement of economic viability. Viability depends on data that does not exist yet.
  • Not a public offering of securities, a promise of return or a technical report under any reporting code.
Editorial rule of the project

Research is not discovery, and authorization is not mining. The current stage exists to produce evidence, including the evidence that would tell us to stop. Any area may be discontinued on its own data.

04 · Territories and portfolio

Six authorizations, drawn to scale.

Five contiguous fronts in the Triângulo Mineiro region of Minas Gerais, inside the northern Paraná Basin, and one large area in Santa Cruz do Xingu, Mato Grosso, associated on a regional scale with the Amazon Craton. Each square below is proportional to the area of its permit.

Title identifiers, grant dates, the substance schedule of each permit, official publications, consolidated cartography and land records are not published here. Authorized substances vary by title. The complete regulatory set is released to qualified counterparties under a confidentiality agreement.

Farm names indicate the properties covered by the portfolio. Shapes shown above are proportional to permit area and are not the permit polygons. For all regulatory purposes, the area, perimeter and substances stated in each granted permit prevail over any description on this page.

04.2 and 04.3 · Two geological fronts

From the Paranaíba River Valley to the Legal Amazon.

The two fronts are investigated independently. Proximity between the Minas Gerais areas allows standardized campaigns and comparable data, without assuming geological continuity between titles.

Triângulo Mineiro and the northern Paraná Basin

Covers, volcanic and sedimentary units and weathered materials that must be broken down at project scale. The priority is to understand host materials, structural controls, geochemical signature and the distribution of anomalies. The Geological Survey of Brazil records geological environments in the Triângulo Mineiro that are favorable to the occurrence of rare earths, and the maturity reached by projects in the Poços de Caldas Alkaline Complex has put the state on the radar of companies, research institutions and investors focused on critical minerals.

  • Consolidated agro-industrial base and existing operational capacity on site.
  • Road access, energy, services and nearby cities that support field mobilization.
  • Five titles across Capinópolis, Ituiutaba, Canápolis and Cachoeira Dourada.
  • Proximity favors shared logistics, standardization and comparison of results.

Santa Cruz do Xingu and the Amazon Craton

Area 02 sits in the Legal Amazon, in a region associated on a regional scale with the Amazon Craton, an extensive Precambrian unit formed by terrains of different ages and geological histories. It is the largest area in the portfolio and offers the scale for progressive investigation, moving from remote sensing and regional integration toward field verification. That framing widens the hypotheses to be tested. It does not constitute a discovery.

  • Granted research authorization, held under the same ownership as the surface.
  • Regulatory scope reviewed and expanded through the applicable ANM procedure where the geology justifies it.
  • Territorial scale used to filter targets before higher cost methods.
  • Full and titled land ownership, registered in the Rural Environmental Registry (CAR), with no overlap onto indigenous land.

03 · Strategic context

Seventeen elements, and the chains that depend on them.

Rare earths are a set of 17 chemical elements, the 15 lanthanides plus scandium and yttrium. Their magnetic, optical, catalytic and electronic properties are what make permanent magnets, electric motors, wind generation, advanced electronics, defense and medical imaging work. The elements highlighted in gold are the ones that carry most of the value in high performance permanent magnets.

01 · Demand

The market is concentrated downstream

The International Energy Agency projects growth of roughly 50 to 60 percent in rare earth demand by 2040, and highlights the high geographic concentration of separation, refining and magnet manufacturing. Competition is not only about access to ore. Separation, refining, alloys, magnets and components concentrate the knowledge, the industrial scale and the added value.

02 · Brazil

A large base and rising exploratory interest

The ANM recorded 11.4 million tonnes of rare earth reserves in Brazil in 2024, in its Brazilian Mineral Summary 2025, and reports a strong expansion of exploratory interest in the country. National policy for critical and strategic minerals is aimed at bringing research, technology, financing and industrial development closer together.

03 · This portfolio

Why composition matters more than presence

The value of a rare earth project does not depend on a single element. Composition of the set, mineralogy, grades, distribution, recoverability and processing route determine which chains can be served and how much value can be captured. Well designed research is what turns regional favorability into specific data.

Sources: ANM, Geological Survey of Brazil (SGB), USGS, U.S. Department of Energy and IEA Global Critical Minerals Outlook 2025. Market projections are subject to technological, economic and regulatory scenarios and say nothing about the geology of these areas.

06 · Technical program

Six phases, each one a gate.

The research runs as a progressive uncertainty reduction program. Each phase must answer a technical question, produce an auditable deliverable and justify, or fail to justify, the allocation of capital to the next stage. Drilling happens only on targets that have earned it.

What this stage delivers to a partner

Evidence maps, a traceable database, classified anomalies, prioritized targets, a costed next step and a technical foundation that grows with each phase. Partners can enter through work packages or milestones, with scope, deliverables, governance and data ownership defined in advance.

08 · Governance and coordination

Surface and research rights under one governance.

The group that owns the rural properties covering the six areas is the same holder of the six research rights granted by the ANM. That convergence between surface, research, investment and decision rights removes interfaces, simplifies access planning and supports long term execution. Ownership of the titles does not represent ownership of the mineral resources, which belong to the Union. It grants the right to carry out mineral exploration within the limits and conditions set by the ANM.

Owner and investor

Grupo Transcap

More than six decades in Brazilian agribusiness, in cattle confinement, farming and crop livestock integration. Owner of the rural properties and surface across the six areas, holder of the six research rights, and the decision making body. The group does not transfer conclusions from agribusiness to geology. It transfers the ability to organize people, territory, resources and decisions.

The enterprise

Projeto Monte Sinai

The mineral enterprise itself, holding the portfolio and its institutional identity. It organizes the six titles into a single program with shared standards for data, quality control, compliance and reporting, while each area is assessed strictly on its own evidence.

Management

PBF Agro Ambiental

Environmental consultancy specialized in licensing, water resource grants, rural environmental management, mining and liability remediation. Responsible for general management and strategic coordination, integrating the technical, legal, environmental and institutional fronts, and reporting to the group.

07 · Environment, society and governance

The commitment starts before the first sample.

Even in the research phase, access, mobilization, opening of sampling points and territorial relationships are planned to prevent impact, respect people and produce verifiable information.

E · Environmental

Baseline for water, soil, vegetation and fauna. Erosion and contamination prevention, waste management, minimized access, recovery of research points and protection of sensitive areas.

S · Social

Prior and accessible communication. Respect for owners, workers and communities. Local hiring and local suppliers where feasible, environmental education, an open dialogue channel and a register of demands.

G · Governance

Mineral and environmental compliance, named technical managers, defined decision criteria, auditable documentation, periodic reporting, risk management and integrity checks when contracting partners and providers.

Commitment against greenwashing

Social and environmental goals are published with an indicator, a responsible person, a deadline and evidence. The project does not claim positive impacts that have not yet been implemented and verified. Monitoring covers authorizations met before the corresponding activity, areas accessed and points recovered, water use and waste destination, local people and suppliers mobilized, and community meetings with registered demands and response deadlines.

09.2 · Risk and response

The risks, stated first.

Exploration is an exercise in spending capital to remove uncertainty. These are the risks a partner takes with us, and the governance response to each.

Geological
Absence of mineralization, or grades that do not support continuation.
Short phases, defined cut off criteria and disciplined discontinuation of an area on its own data.
Regulatory
Requirements, deadlines and changes to authorized substances.
Legal planning, correct filing and continuous monitoring of proceedings before the ANM.
Environmental and social
Access, sensitive areas and local expectations.
Baseline studies, licensing, dialogue and traceability of every commitment made.
Financial
Cost escalation before technical validation.
Budget by milestone, contingency and formal approval before each phase begins.
Market
Price, technology and the processing chain.
Periodic revision of the thesis and a focus on data quality rather than market timing.

09 · Partnerships and value creation

We are looking for capital that arrives with knowledge.

We are selective about who enters at this stage, because what the portfolio needs is not only capital. It is the set of assets that shorten the learning curve. Geological expertise, technology, laboratory access, processing experience, industrial connections and governance standards.

Technical and operational

  • Geology, geophysics, drilling and laboratories.
  • Cartography, remote sensing and data management.
  • Universities, research and innovation centres.
  • Environment, safety, ESG and community relations.

Strategic and financial

  • Capital staged by phase and performance milestones.
  • Joint study or earn in, conditional on results.
  • Technology agreements and shared infrastructure.
  • Chain and offtake arrangements, only once the evidence supports them.
The entry window

The research stage is the point at which a partner can shape the geological base rather than inherit it. Entry is structured by scope, milestones, deliverables, continuity criteria and clear rules on data, intellectual property and decision making.

Institutional contact

Request restricted access.

Detailed material is not distributed openly. Access runs in two steps. A short qualification exchange, which establishes the counterparty and its interest, followed by a confidentiality agreement that opens the data room with the regulatory set, the cartography, the land records and the technical program in full.
